三公炭炉火锅-云顶半山 Sangong Charcoal Hot Pot | Gohtong Jaya , Genting Highland | Pahang

On a very Spontaneous Friday Night Adventure  , we found ourselves unsure of what to eat. After some deliberation, we decided to embark on an hour-long drive up the scenic highlands to 三公炭炉火锅 (Sangong Charcoal Hot Pot) in Gohtong Jaya. Nestled in the cool, picturesque mountains, this restaurant offers an authentic Macau-style version of lamb hot pot that tantalizes the taste buds and warms the soul, especially on a chilly night when we weren’t quite dressed for the weather up the hill.

The Menu , As you need to order from the QR Code given on the table ~

The food here is as exceptional as the main branch in Ara Damansara, though the prices are higher due to the highland location. However, the experience and the quality make it worthwhile.

Rich, Flavorful Broths and Tender Meats
The thickness and flavor of the soup here are truly remarkable, offering an authentic taste that lingers on the palate. We ordered two types of hot pot – lamb and chicken in separate pots. The lamb hot pot, their most popular dish, featured meat that seemed to have been slow-cooked for hours, resulting in incredibly soft and tender bites. Alongside the hot pots, we ordered a variety of side dishes, all reasonably priced and the yumz of deliciousness.

How to Enjoy Your Meal

To fully savor the experience, follow these simple instructions:
1. Start by eating the meat in its rich sauce.
2. Then, pour in the lamb broth to enjoy the hearty, flavorful soup.

Be warned, it is a hearty and fulfilling meal!

Whether you're a hot pot enthusiast or simply looking for a unique dining experience, Sangong Charcoal Hot Pot in Gohtong Jaya is a must-visit. The combination of traditional cooking methods, high-quality ingredients, and the beautiful highland setting makes it a perfect destination for a memorable meal.
