Fresh water prawn with curry @ Lim Aik Chew (林翼洲 ) , Nibong Tebal , Penang

My road tripping journey yet somehow me and my pals decided to drop by this place for some fresh water prawn with curry however I was like okay ?! 

About 30 -45 minutes drive out from Penang Island

This is one of the main land marks of the place as they all told me. 

Got to know that Lim Aik Chew is famous in this town for its fresh water prawn curry and over weekdays and they just open in time for brunch man even so its legit empty and yet we're their first customers. 

This is their third generation which is running this family base eatery.

Their signature is their homemade bread

Then again the phone must eat first 

Very quick to be served 5 minutes upon our order.

Signature Curry Prawns (500 grams for Rm 50)

This is their signature dish, fresh water prawn curry. 

Cook to perfection as the prawn is super juicy, fresh and curry is thick enough with mild spices taste at the end of it. 

To locate this restaurant, you can go thru waze as it is located right at this junction. 

Overall food is good and if you know me well I love to eat prawns too especially fresh.
